23 days + statutory holidays A state-of-the-art, highly automated production facility in Flint is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical & Control Asset Care Engineer to lead from the front and drive positive change across the site. This role is pivotal in maintaining the seamless operation of our FMCG production facility. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong leadership and communication skills to drive maintenance excellence and continuous improvement. The Electrical and Controls Asset Care Engineer is responsible for ensuring the optimal functionality, reliability, and safety of all electrical and control systems. The role emphasizes three key pillars: Preventive maintenance / Minimizing downtime Continuous improvement – To enhance reliability and performance Be the point of contact for electrical work on site In order to be successful: Recognised apprenticeship in relevant discipline (Electrical and Electronics Engineering) Further education to obtain a HNC, HND, or degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Automation Engineering, or Mechatronics (or equivalent) Experience of working within a continuous process or production facility Knowledge of working with CMMS software applications Detailed knowledge of preventative, predictive, and lifecycle maintenance activities PLC/HMI/SCADA Work This vacancy would be ideal for controls engineers, automation engineers, asset care engineers, electrical maintenance engineers, or electrical engineers.
