Job description: Based in Carlton, Barnsley, S71 3HF - The home of Mr Kipling Salary - Circa £52,000 per annum (including 20% Shift Premium) Permanent, Full time (12 hours shifts - to be agreed) A full time, permanent opportunity has arisen at our Barnsley site for an Asset Care Engineer to join the team. You will be a fully engaged team member, with flexibility to efficiently problem solve, report, maintain and improve a variety of manufacturing

equipment across site. The role will be specifically supporting our P95 line which produces slice products such as the famous Mr Kipling Angel Slice. This is an automated line that consists of Schubert and Meincke equipment so experience of working with automation is essential. The successful candidate will: Ensure that plant and equipment systems perform to manufacture products efficiently to high quality standards To implement maintenance activities, ensuring that the manufacturing team achieve full compliance to the production plan, by minimising engineering downtime To support the engineering and manufacturing functions ensuring maximum utilisation of engineering equipment in order to achieve KPIs and optimal line efficiency within the company safety, quality & environmental policies Critical spare parts identification for assets across site To support manufacturing team through the daily and Short Interval Control (SIC) meeting structure to achieve efficient and effective close out of tasks to improve line availability. What we need from you: Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship, ONC/HNC or equivalent qualification in engineering for example – Level 3 Electrical/electronic engineering or similar Previous experience of automated manufacturing environments Experience of programming, fault finding and repair of Servo or inverter driven systems Practical knowledge of CI tools and techniques A working understanding of Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic technical manuals & drawings What we offer in return: Salary of circa £52,000 per annum Shift pattern to be agreed Up to 7.5% pension contribution Life assurance Staff discount shop on site Free on site parking Access to "The Hamper", with discounts at hundreds of nationwide retailers 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays Employee Assistance Programme, Occupational Health and Other Health & Wellbeing Benefits Sharesave Scheme Other salary sacrifice benefits
