We are seeking a Development Director to spearhead the expansion of one of the UK's fastest-growing leisure brands. This is a unique opportunity to drive the strategic development of world-class experiences across the UK.

About the Role: As Development Director, you will lead the identification, acquisition, and development of new sites, while enhancing the portfolio of existing destinations. Reporting directly to the CEO and supported by a talented team, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of the business by creating innovative, high-impact adventure experiences.

Key Responsibilities: Deliver and implement a strategic development plan to expand and enhance the portfolio. Identify and secure new site opportunities, negotiating commercially sound agreements and partnerships. Oversee the full lifecycle of development projects, from feasibility to delivery. Build relationships with stakeholders, including landlords, land agents, contractors, and industry contacts, to maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities. Lead and inspire a team of project leaders, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration. Drive revenue growth through innovative developments and partnership opportunities. Ensure compliance with all health and safety and regulatory requirements, creating a safe and sustainable workplace.

About You: The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of successfully delivering development projects within the hospitality, leisure, or tourism sectors. You will be: A strategic thinker with a strong commercial mindset and the ability to spot opportunities for growth. Skilled in negotiations, with experience securing long-term agreements. A confident leader who can inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals. Data-driven and analytical, with the ability to present insights and proposals at board level. Flexible, resilient, and solutions-focused, with a positive attitude and a hands-on approach. Committed to delivering exceptional visitor experiences through innovative and sustainable development.
