Newcastle Upon Tyne – hybrid role - working from our city centre office, from home and across our national property portfolio Permanent, Full Time (37.5 hpw) Salary £45,000 to £47,000 (depending on experience) plus great benefits including Health Cash Plan Home, a place where you belong We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join us as an Asset Manager in our growing team, playing a key role in delivering our strategic asset management plan. You’ll ensure our homes are safe, satisfying, and sustainable for our customers, and deliver returns so we can reinvest back into our homes and communities. You’ll be responsible for the asset management of a portfolio of houses, flats, blocks, and estates, including both freehold and leasehold properties within one of our Regions (North-East, East Coast & Yorkshire, North-West or Scotland). If you’re looking for a varied role where you can grow your career as you help us grow, then read on… Typical day as an Asset Manager Asset management of a regional portfolio of freehold and leasehold residential properties, ensuring they meet safety, satisfaction, and sustainability standards. Monitor and enhance asset performance through financial, operational, health and safety, and customer satisfaction metrics. Address strategic asset matters, including investment and divestment, with the support of the wider asset team. Provide expert advice on landlord and tenant issues, ensuring compliance with legal terms and covenants. Collaborate with regional operational teams and directors to effectively implement the asset management plan. Prepare and present concise monthly management reports to support decision-making and risk management.
