Red Sky are seeking an Assistant Depot Manager to join our client based in the Slough area.

The Assistant Depot Manager is responsible for supporting the manager in the daily operations of a busy depot, ensuring efficient management of resources and staff while delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires strong leadership skills to motivate and supervise a diverse team, maintain operational standards, and enhance overall depot performance. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational abilities and be able to communicate effectively with both staff and customers. You must have experience in the commercial tyre service industry; please do not apply if you have no experience.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Assisting the manager in the daily operation of a busy depot. Receiving and dealing with enquiries from customers. Allocating work to technicians. Managing a team. Ordering and managing stock. Managing vehicle maintenance with suppliers and vehicle checks by drivers. Ensuring compliance and health and safety duties are met and maintained. General depot management. Ensuring cover for out of hours breakdowns by compiling a rota system. Tyre inspections are completed in line with customer agreed SLA. Managing holiday planners to always ensure adequate cover. Communication with other depot managers in the event of customer breakdown in other areas. Monitor slow moving stock and offering to other depots to potentially utilise. Ensuring all relevant compliance documents are visible within the depot. Prepare for any Audits (Health and Safety or Customer).

The offer: Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year DOE Company pension Employee discount On-site parking Monday - Friday (Apply online only) & Saturday
