is seeking a Group Assistant Accountant to join the London based Group Finance team, reporting to the Management Reporting Accountant. This is a hybrid role, with some work from home and work from office days. ERM

is a global business provider of environmental, health, safety, risk, and social consulting services with Business Units (‘BUs’) in approximately 40 countries, reporting via four Regional Finance teams (EMEA, Latin America, North America and Asia / ANZ). The Group Finance team is responsible for all aspects of group reporting, including monthly management reporting; annual statutory reporting; budgeting and forecasting. Principal Responsibilities:

General maintenance of our Accounting and Reporting systems, for example: Create and map General Ledger accounts as and when required Upload the monthly FX rates Import the monthly backlog data into our reporting tool, OneStream Add/remove system users & maintain user securities, OneStream Prepare the monthly reporting packs for six small holding companies & assist with auditor queries of these entities. Prepare the monthly Global Opportunity Tracking Report Post invoices (Accounts Payable) to the General Ledger system and maintain Log thereof Assist with the posting of monthly journals to the General Ledger system Prepare the monthly bank reconciliations for our USD, GBP and EUR accounts Various account variance analysis and query/follow-up responsibilities Preparing a variety of monthly reports (internal/external) Assist with Year End tasks Support the Sustainability team with the review of carbon data collection Adhoc requests Skills Required:

Basic accounting experience (no accounting qualification required) Prior experience of working within a Finance team environment will be an advantage. Good Excel skills Attention to detail and ability to self-check work is key in this role. Ability to work independently and self-manage to ensure deadlines are met. Good interpersonal skills – develop working relationships with BUs and fellow team members.
