Are you a dedicated, enthusiastic and experienced individual seeking employment in a professional educational environment? Do you have experience as an Assistant Attendance Officer with strong organisational and interpersonal skills? Join our team as an Assistant Attendance Officer at a prestigious school in Wandsworth, London.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting the attendance officer in monitoring student attendance and ensuring that accurate records for all students are maintained.

Following up on and contacting parents or guardians regarding relevant matters.

Assisting with attendance reports and noting any patterns or concerns related to student attendance.

Handling attendance policies and enforcing the school’s attendance policies.

Working closely with teachers, counsellors, and school leadership to identify students with poor attendance and develop strategies to improve student engagement and attendance.

Key Requirements:

Previous administration experience is essential (preferably within a school) as well as GCSE English and Maths.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of MIS systems, particularly SIMS, is desirable.

Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide others and respond effectively, even in high-pressure situations.

Strong work ethic and professional communication skills.

Ability to provide exceptional support to all staff and students alike.
