Your role as Accounts & Audit Assistant Manager: Our client is a well-respected and growing accountancy firm that values collaboration and innovation. As an Assistant Manager in the Corporate Services Team, you will: Lead audits for clients with turnovers ranging from £10–20 million and beyond, managing planning, fieldwork, and completion. Work directly with clients to understand their financial and business processes, providing tailored advice. Support and mentor junior staff, fostering their development and ensuring high standards of work. Take responsibility for reviewing working papers and preparing files for senior review, maintaining a focus on quality and accuracy. Be actively involved in a diverse range of assignments, including group reorganisations & consolidations. What you’ll need to succeed as an Audit Assistant Manager: ACA or ACCA qualified with at least 1 year of post-qualification experience. Strong knowledge of UK GAAP (including FRS 102 and FRS 102 1a) and auditing standards (ISAs). Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team and mentor others. Confidence in interacting with clients and explaining complex financial matters clearly. A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to manage workloads effectively under pressure.
