ABOUT THE ROLE

Award winning, Daylesford Organic, one of the most famous farm estates and organic producers in the UK, with luxury caf s and farm shops in London and the Cotswolds are looking for an engaging Assistant Bar Manager to join our team.

You'll ideally have worked in a restaurant or caf setting before and come with a bright, warm, and welcoming mentality. Our luxury cafes feature seasonal farm to fork dishes in a relaxed and warm setting, and as a Assistant Bar Manager you will be an ambassador for the Daylesford brand and offer an engaged service to our cliental.

SALARY: 30000 + Tronc
HOURS: Full Time 40 hours / Open shift starts 7am / Closing Shift ends 10pm / Open 7 days a week so flexibility to work any 5 out of 7 is key

RESPONSIBILITIES

FOOD

  • Live the farm' when conversing with guests
  • Enthusiastically showcase your knowledge of menu and produce
  • Drive retail product knowledge in caf


SERVICE

  • Ensure every guest receives warm, efficient, and attentive service
  • Coordinate the team to deliver speedy service
  • Resolve minor complaints on shift, ensuring the complaint handling procedure is followed correctly


OPERATIONS

  • Lead opening/closing procedures of the Bar
  • Assist restaurant management to ensure the store operates within all audit requirements
  • Supervise consumables and stock levels, placing orders for bar and floor

NUMBERS

  • Support Restaurant Manager to drive weekly sales and influence the store's financial position
  • Create a weekly upselling plan to drive wet sales
  • Undertake daily banking and cash reconciliation when required

PEOPLE

  • Lead the Bar team
  • Create daily team briefs
  • Delegate tasks to the team to ensure the smooth running of the department
  • Create an environment to encourage a happy and motivated team
