The Company On behalf of a growing retail and wholesale organisation we are supporting them build the marketing team This includes internal communications, trade marketing (depot activation, internal publications, events), and consumer activities (digital, press, etc.) to help the brands to grow by driving awareness and engagement. Main Responsibilities: Assists in the development and communication of own brand strategy and communications plan to deliver awareness and increased sales, updating the plan based on performance. Works with trading and RDM teams to ensure own brand plans match agreed commercial objectives. Liaises with members to ensure the marketing plan is delivered and takes feedback for development. Supports the management of the brand, including promotional activity, range development, marketing communication, and campaigns both printed and digital. Assists in analysing and tracking brand performance using consumer and shopper research data (Nielsen, Kantar, EPOS) to identify growth opportunities. Helps build brand manuals and ensures compliance across the marketing mix, updating propositions as market demands change. Supports the management of relevant agencies to deliver the plan. Covers trade marketing and digital elements of marketing. Key Requirements Skills/Competencies/Qualifications: Basic marketing ability with some experience in managing communication channels. Understanding of digital communications. Creative appreciation and ability to discuss creative ideas. Ability to persuade and influence. Basic project and campaign management skills. Understanding of agency roles and ability to garner support. Ability to manage a busy workload to deadlines. Background Knowledge/Experience: 2-3 years of experience in marketing or a related field. Experience in developing collateral to brand guidelines. Basic insight and understanding of working with mixed audiences to deliver targeted marketing campaigns. Appreciation and understanding of creative communications.
