Assistant Contract Manager - Responsibilities Overview Assist in the development and implementation of contracts, guiding them from design through to operation to ensure successful construction and delivery stages. Provide expert advice to external stakeholders in the creation and refinement of contracts that support emerging technology or complex delivery stages. Contribute value by ensuring consistency in the approach to business models across various first-of-a-kind technologies. Oversee the management of high-value contracts, ranging from approximately £100 million to £2 billion, with appropriate support. Manage relationships with project developers, monitor contract milestones, and work proactively to meet contractual obligations, enabling timely payments and project progress. Assistant Contract Manager - Candidate Profile: Existing commercial contract management experience with contracts in excess of £50M with knowledge of highly complex technical projects. Experience within infrastructure, utilities, telecoms, energy, renewables or technically complex construction management industries would be highly beneficial. Experience with EPC, FEED or PFI contracts would also be beneficial. Strong financial acumen with commercial contract management governance skills.
