Your new company Hays are working exclusively with a successful business who are looking for an Assistant Cost & Management Accountant to join their team. This would ideally be temporary with a view to potentially becoming permanent.

Your new role Your duties will include:

Stocks reconciliations Stocks Valuation Assist with the year-end stock take Assistance with the production/development of the Financial/Management Reporting Assistance with energy provisions and energy expenses monitoring Assistance with the implementation and development of standard costing Assistance with the Budget process Assistance with annual and internal audits Completion of product/customer contribution and profitability analysis Assistance with specific Project work What you'll need to succeed You should have previous experience of assisting in the production of management accounts and additionally, costing experience would be a great benefit but not essential. You should have strong Excel skills, be self-motivated with excellent accuracy & attention to detail.
