Manage a fleet of multiple industrial farm machines including telehandlers and tractors Monitor and observe cow movement and behaviours Manage a team of farm staff including issuing complex tasks Maintain and enhance high levels of farm hygiene across yards, sheds, robotics, and farm surgery Manage agricultural contractors including mechanics, electricians, plumbers, and slurry system engineers Instruct and assist dairy team with tasks Respond to urgent dairy-specific enquiries Attend trade shows and stay up to date with modern dairy farming industry developments Liaise with academics, students, and researchers including seeking requirements, data, and events Skills & Experience
Experience managing a team in an agricultural environment Knowledge of modern dairy farming Experience operating farm machinery including tractors and telehandlers Excellent attention to detail with an ability to work to tight deadlines Knowledge of Health and Safety in a farming environment Confidence around animals including animal handling and observing closely Full, clean UK driving licence Vacancy Summary
