Job Description About the role We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Designer to join our team in London on a full-time permanent basis. Hybrid working, you will spend three days based in our central London office and two days working remotely. The role is paying £32,812 per annum + £4,000 inner London supplement.

In this newly created Assistant Designer role, you will report to the Senior Designer and support the delivery of a range of online and offline communications and materials, designed to a high standard, on time and ensuring they support the overall business objectives, in line with Guinness’s corporate brand guidelines.

You will work closely with the Communications team and the wider business to assist with the design of a broad range of materials including corporate documents, the resident magazine, newsletters, infographics, leaflets, factsheets, event collateral and associated assets. Commissioning photoshoots and updating and maintaining our image library are an essential part of this new role.

What we’re looking for We are a customer-focussed organisation, so we know that how we do things is just as important as what we do.

You will be an experienced designer/artworker with excellent creative skills. You will have a strong eye for detail and great organisational skills, be able to manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines. You will also be able to demonstrate the below essential experience: Good knowledge and experience of using Adobe Creative Suite, in particular InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat Pro and able to create digital content. Experience of working within a communications environment delivering design material on time and to a high standard. Ability to work on own initiative and to be proactive and see projects through from start to finish. Ability to review activities/materials and question as appropriate. Good typographical skills and can create infographics. Desirable Experience of supporting design of corporate documents, magazines/newsletters, online and event content. An understanding of photography and art direction. An awareness of how to create accessible PDFs. Essential Qualifications Educated to Level 2 (C+ or 9-4 GCSE or equivalent) or higher.
