Leading established, positive and proactive teams, we are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Director for Strategic Housing who will work closely with other Assistant Directors to ensure the Council continues momentum and achieves our ambitious plans.
You’ll take the lead across strategic housing functions, including policy and strategy, homelessness and housing solutions, private sector housing, and our innovative county-wide Home Improvement Agency (HEART). You will have proven experience of maximising stakeholder relationships to enhance and improve the services provided, and have a blend of professional experience with expert technical knowledge in order to navigate emerging legislation.
With the ability to make a decisive contribution to the Council, you should be an experienced senior manager with the ability to lead and encourage growth and development in others. Holding a relevant qualification, you should have a track record in developing and implementing housing strategy and policy to drive forward and shape housing provision across the Borough.
