Certain Advantage is hiring for an Assistant Director of Medical Workforce based in Peterborough.

This role is a 12-week contract basis and is hybrid-based.

The Role This is a dynamic role for an Assistant Director of Medical Workforce—someone who is ready to make a significant contribution. You'll be results-driven and focused on making impactful changes.

Key responsibilities include:

Providing expert advice and guidance on medical workforce-related matters such as terms and conditions, employee relations, job planning, appraisals, and reviews. Managing rota design, education, development, and transformation initiatives within the medical workforce. Developing and reviewing medical workforce policies in line with NHS guidelines, ensuring compliance with legislation. Creating and managing employee relations interventions that have measurable, positive impacts.

The Individual We're looking for individuals who can demonstrate: Current UK NHS experience is essential, particularly in medical workforce management. MCIP qualification or equivalent with expertise in leadership and policy development. A solid background in driving workforce transformation, managing employee relations, and workforce policy. Strong knowledge of NHS systems, with a focus on compliance and legal adherence. Willingness to work under the Trust's Direct Engagement model and comply with the Workforce Alliance Framework.
