Assistant Facilities Manager

to oversee projects, ensure compliance, and deliver optimal support for critical operations. What You’ll Do: Deliver Billable Works and ensure compliance with JSP 375 and other technical standards. Act as a key technical advisor, providing support to DIO and Heads of Establishment (HoE) representatives. Work closely with Mobile APs to maintain standards. Manage Temporary Works and CDM responsibilities. Ensure FGas and waste compliance. Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency on-site. Serve as a single point of contact (SPOC) for resolving end-user issues. Draft Statements of Need (SONs) and liaise closely with the Vivo Service Manager. Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving complaints effectively. What You’ll Bring: Your technical expertise includes a strong foundation in project management (for low value refurb/repair works) and familiarity with CDM regulations, Asbestos management, and energy performance strategies. You’ll have experience in waste management and a proven ability to deliver high-quality solutions in facilities or a related field. An ONC/BTEC qualification in an engineering-related discipline (or equivalent experience) is essential, along with technical training in areas like Asbestos and Legionella. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and a full driving license are required, while IOSH, CAFM experience, and familiarity with energy reduction methods are desirable.
