Your new company This job is working for a leader in industry. Your new role You will be supporting a busy Head Of Finance delivering month end and year end close. The team responsibility will remain with the Head of Finance and the FP&A Manager and you will be a key member of the senior finance team. Some of your responsibilities will be: Prepare and present monthly management reports on overheads, including variance analyses Manage project accounting for all subcontract and application projects, taking full ownership of project accruals. Communicate and enforce the month-end timetable, delegating tasks to team members as needed. Post month-end journals, including accruals, prepayments, and deferred revenue. Maintain the fixed assets register and post monthly depreciation in line with company policy. Perform regular balance sheet reconciliations to ensure the validity of all assets and liabilities Complete all year-end requirements, submissions, and support activities, including audit and IFS procedures, on time the Head of Finance with ad hoc tasks to ensure operational efficiency What you'll need to succeed You will need to have experience of delivering robust management accounts including balance sheet reconciliations, P&L reports, accruals & prepayments, journals, month-end close, ONS reports preparation, variance analysis and overhead reporting. You will have a good understanding of management accounts and be keen to be part of a friendly and proactive team. The role is 5 days per week in the office with an early finish on Friday. Ideally, you will be part qualified ACCA, CIMA, AAT, ACA etc. and be experienced in delivering robust management accounts, reconciliations, and analysis. You will have excellent communication skills and be keen to join an upbeat team.
