This international import and distribution company based in Ilford, Essex seeks a part qualified/finalist Accountant to join its busy finance team. Working closely with the Financial Controller, this role offers the opportunity to take a step up in terms of experience, duties, and progression. Duties will include:
Accounting for multi-currency treasury transactions
Assisting, overseeing, and reporting on all activities of the business as directed by the FC
Financial analysis of financial data
Reconciling multi bank accounts in sterling and euros
Complex VAT returns
Managing sales and purchase ledgers
Liaison with sales and operational personnel
The successful candidate will be capable of working under pressure to strict deadlines, have excellent attention to detail, and possess the ability to communicate with all levels of management.
