Liberty has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Financial Controller to join our team, based in Knowsley. You will be working on a full time permanent basis, working 40 hours per week. Responsibilities for the Assistant Financial Controller will include:

People management Liaising with internal and external auditors Completion of year-end statutory accounts Preparing full statutory accounts Preparing group financial statements including a full set of consolidation accounts including consolidation adjustments Full set of statutory accounts Corporation tax compliance Maintenance of the group cash forecast Balance sheet reconciliations for all companies within the group Audit, tax or compliance related projects What we are looking for in our ideal Assistant Financial Controller:

GCSE or equivalent qualification in maths & english Qualified accountant (preferably ACA or ACCA) Practical Audit / Tax / VAT experience Been in practice, audit & tax experience essential Intermediate Microsoft office skills specifically in Excel A strong commitment to high quality customer service The ability to work well within a team as well as alone, showing initiative and prioritisation We offer a range of benefits for a rewarding career including though not limited to:
