Assistant Financial Controller - Hybrid (4 days in the office, 1 from home)
Are you either a Finalist, Newly Qualified, or have around 1 to 2 years Post Qualified Experience - ACCA/CIMA/ACA or Equivalent?
Do you ideally work in a Finance/Accounting role in either an Accountancy Practice or a Financial Services firm such as an Asset Management company?
Do you have experience in Financial/Management Accounting?
About the Role
A global Hedge Fund is going through a period of expansion due to an increase in trading activity. Our client, based in their London office with hybrid working, is seeking a Finance/Accounting professional for this excellent Assistant Financial Controller role.
Responsibilities
Help bring the books and preparation of the financial statements in-house from the External Accountants.
Review management accounting packs produced by the External Accountancy firm.
Supervise a team member.
Manage the accounts payable automated process.
Oversee employee expense reimbursement.
Manage Cash and Treasury.
Assist with VAT and Corporation Tax in conjunction with the Head of Tax.
Oversee the fund expense accounts.
Work on finance/accounting projects.
