Assistant Financial Controller – Teemill

The Assistant Financial Controller is responsible for supporting the financial management of the organisation by handling various financial tasks, reporting, and compliance activities. This role includes creating monthly management accounts, ensuring adherence to accounting standards, and assisting with financial audits. The Assistant Financial Controller will also assist with commercial projects such as pricing and cost-saving initiatives. The Assistant Financial Controller will provide support to the senior leadership team and guidance to the finance team with day-to-day queries. Responsibilities Creating monthly management accounts Ensuring accounting practices follow current standards Assist with financial audits Assist with commercial projects such as pricing and identifying areas for cost savings Presenting reports to upper management Supporting the finance team with queries Qualifications AAT qualification or part recognised accountancy qualification is essential Competencies: Ability to collaborate and work well in a team Thorough attention to detail and highly organised Leadership and business management skills Ability to problem solve and analyse data Experience Extensive knowledge of economics, accounting, regulations and best practices Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with industry software
