Contract Type: Temporary, Full-Time Salary: £49,781 - £54,939 per annum (FTE, Leadership Scale L1-L5) Start Date: ASAP Closing Date: Midnight, 4th December 2024 Interview Date: TBC An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and compassionate leader to join the senior leadership team at a thriving school as Assistant Headteacher with responsibility for Behaviour and Pastoral Care. This is a key role in shaping the school’s culture and ethos, ensuring outstanding standards of behaviour, pastoral care, and support for all pupils. As part of the leadership team, you will help drive the school’s next phase of development, working collaboratively with dedicated staff, supportive governors, and the wider school community. Responsibilities:

Provide strategic leadership and management of behaviour and pastoral systems, fostering a positive, inclusive, and safe school environment. Lead and inspire staff to uphold the highest standards of pastoral care, promoting resilience, respect, and personal development among pupils. Work closely with the Headteacher, SENDCo, parents, and students to embed the school’s values and maintain a nurturing environment where every child is supported to thrive. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behaviour and pastoral initiatives, ensuring they align with the school’s vision and priorities. Qualifications:

Be an inspirational leader with a passion for student well-being and personal development. Have a proven track record of school leadership, with experience managing behaviour and pastoral systems. Be an effective communicator with strong interpersonal and written communication skills. Demonstrate the ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a cohesive team. Uphold the school’s distinctive ethos and values, fostering a culture of excellence and inclusion.
