Assistant Health and Wellbeing Officer , you will work closely with other members of the Health and Wellbeing and People Services teams to provide a high quality, effective, efficient and timely delivery of wellbeing services, providing advice and guidance to managers and employees. Find out more:

Key responsibilities of the Assistant Health and Wellbeing Officer: The role involves: Processing requests from managers for Occupational Health referrals. Submitting OH referrals via the OH providers' online portal system. Updating managers and HR Business Partners on progress with OH cases, and liaising on a regular basis with the OH provider, including attending meetings. Dealing with enquiries relating to Maternity Leave, adoption and shared parental leave, providing advice and guidance. Supporting Health and Wellbeing colleagues with requests for other wellbeing services such as physiotherapy, counselling support, eye tests, neurodiversity and disability support. Coordinating the Ill Health Retirement caseload. Help manage the Health and Wellbeing inbox. In addition to this you'll: Be responsible for maintaining and updating essential spreadsheets, databases, and systems. Provide support to other members of the team and Welfare Advisors where required. The ideal Assistant Health and Wellbeing Officer should have: Experience of working within an HR or Wellbeing function. Understanding of HR issues, particularly relating to maintaining a healthy workforce. Experience of working with internal and external stakeholders. Proven ability to work with a high level of integrity, discretion and confidentiality. Strong IT and proven keyboard skills. A good level of education. Knowledge of basic office systems and procedures. Effective communication skills both written and verbal. Strong attention to detail. Excellent organisational skills.
