Their aim is to keep customers at the heart of the business, to provide indispensable connections and insights that are essential for fostering sustainable growth.

We are looking for an Assistant Lead Generation Campaign Manager- B2B Events who will be focusing significantly on building driving the business ambitious growth plans across our diverse events portfolio, including Conferences, Awards, Community Events, and Roundtables. The primary purpose of this role is to support the sponsorship sales team to accelerate new business acquisition and increase customer retention.

The roles and responsibilities of this Assistant Lead Generation Campaign Manager - B2B Eventsposition:

  • Partner with the sponsorship sales team to design targeted campaigns that align with sales goals
  • Develop and execute comprehensive inbound and outbound lead generation marketing campaigns.
  • Use data-driven insights to optimise campaign strategies for maximum effectiveness and ROI
  • Create engaging content for various marketing channels, including email, social media, webinars, and landing pages.
  • Design and implement lead nurturing strategies to convert prospects into qualified leads.
  • Utilise marketing automation tools to track and manage lead flow, ensuring timely follow-ups and engagement.
  • Monitor and analyse campaign performance metrics, delivering regular reports to stakeholders.
  • Identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement to continuously enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • Support delegate acquisition and retention efforts through targeted marketing initiatives.
  • Develop strategies to engage past attendees and attract new delegates to events.
  • Oversee the production of marketing materials, ensuring brand messaging and quality are consistent.

Experience and skills required for this Assistant Lead Generation Campaign Manager - B2B Events position:

  • Ideally having 2 years + experience in a similar campaign/marketing lead generation position (either at an assistant, executive, specialist or manager level).
  • Proven experience in lead generation and marketing campaign management, preferably within the B2B events industry.
  • Ideally having experience looking at B2B historic/existing and new clients.
  • Strong understanding of inbound and outbound marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools and CRM systems- including Google Analytics, UTM tracking and salesforce.
  • Data management experience and knowledge of GDPR.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to analyse data and derive actionable insights.
  • Able to juggle multiple projects at a time, whilst maintaining sharp attention to detail.
