An exciting opportunity as an Assistant Management Accountant has arisen in a hugely impressive law firm. As the Assistant Management Accountant, your duties will include: Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts Post prepayments, accruals, and journals Maintain the fixed asset register Manage monthly fee earner targets Authorize and verify supplier invoices, staff expense claims, and bank payments Assist with budgeting and quarterly forecasting Perform intercompany reconciliations Prepare quarterly and annual legal surveys and national statistics reports To be successful in the Assistant Management Accountant role, you must have: Experience in the accounts department of a professional services firm Flexible, professional, and proactive attitude Ability to use initiative and challenge work practices Strong communication and interpersonal skills Currently studying towards an accountancy qualification Experience in a legal or professional services environment is ideal
