We are working with a forward-thinking manufacturing company in Huddersfield, recognized for its steady growth and industry-leading practices. In this position, you will offer crucial daily support to the Finance Department, helping to analyse business performance across multiple entities. You will also contribute significantly to the preparation of management accounts, ensuring the Management Accountant receives accurate financial reports. Key Responsibilities

Offer daily support to the Finance Department by assisting with financial tasks and ensuring smooth operational workflows. Track and evaluate the financial performance of global subsidiaries and contribute to reporting for the group board. Assist in the implementation and enhancement of systems as the company adopts new technologies. Support the management and maintenance of the fixed asset register. Record accounting journals and assist in month-end closing, including preparing the Profit & Loss statement. Help with year-end audits and the preparation of statutory financial statements. Perform balance sheet reconciliations and conduct detailed financial analysis. Assist in the preparation of VAT returns. Experience

Relevant qualifications (e.g., AAT, part-qualified ACCA, CIMA). Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Strong communication skills, with the ability to address queries and concerns at all organizational levels. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to meet deadlines. Ideally, you will have month-end experience and be part-qualified, or have a keen interest in pursuing ACCA, CIMA, or ACA qualifications.
