You'll be joining our Finance department within our office called
Support Centre , which is in Greater Manchester (M26 1GG). The role is fixed term (9 -12 months maternity cover) and full time. Hybrid working arrangements 3 days working from home and 2 days in the Support Centre (on Tuesday and Thursday). The Management Accounts team sits within Commercial Finance, part of the wider Finance department. The role offers exposure to a broad range of tasks and would provide excellent experience and training from a supportive and approachable team. As an Assistant Management Accountant, you'll be:
Working with the Management Accounts team to help produce the monthly Profit and Loss reports for each of our dental practices. Reviewing Revenue, Cost of Sales and Overheads. Calculating Accruals and Prepayments. Posting journals. Reconciling NHS contracts. Supporting practice managers by fielding queries and helping them understand their P&L performance. Your skills:
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Vlookup/Pivot tables) Experience in a similar role with an understanding of month end procedures, P&Ls and Balance Sheet Sound understanding of double entry accounting (debits and credits) High level of attention to detail Qualified / Part Qualified with a professional accounting body (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, AAT) Enjoy being part of a team that's passionate about supporting our practices and ultimately helping the nation smile.
