Our Chipping Sodbury office is in close proximity to Yate, the market town boasting many attractions. Nestled within Yate in the heart of rural surroundings, it provides an idyllic setting for a workspace. Its proximity to both the M4 and M5 ensures easy connectivity and convenience, making it an excellent choice for any working environment with free parking and onsite cafe.

To assist in the preparation of the monthly management accounts for designated process areas, with the understanding of how your work relates to others.

Key accountabilities To post journals and accruals into the JDE / SAP system based on discussion with senior site and financial management after proper authorisation from management. To liaise with site and other management and address queries within the monthly accounts and the weekly reports; to oversee and reconcile intercompany transactions between systems. To assist in the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts. To assist with the quarterly reforecast and annual budget process where appropriate. Any other tasks reasonably required by the finance department. Identify and resolve issues using application of judgement. Diagnose and complete more complex tasks as required by the finance department. Build relationships and advise the business using technical knowledge and support co-workers.

Financial & Non-Financial accountabilities Scope: The designated process areas for the whole company. Team: This role has no direct reports.

Education/Qualification Actively undertaking study towards a professional accounting qualification (AAT/CIMA/ACCA).
