Brief Description of the Role: Concorde Technology Group is seeking a confident, versatile, and experienced Assistant Management Accountant to join our team in Ossett. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in the finance department, managing the team day-to-day in the absence of the head of finance, while taking ownership of the purchase ledger and assisting in accounts preparation and analysis. You will have a strong interest in making all procedures in a finance department lean and a proven track record of implementing changes. Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): Assist in the production of Management Accounts Production of cashflow forecasting Processing journal postings Managing Fixed Assets Reviewing and managing accruals and prepayments Reconciling control accounts Balance sheet reconciliations Intercompany reconciliations Production of month-end packs Experience of all finance roles with the ability to support and advise on purchase ledger, sales ledger, and credit control functions Covering other transactional duties when required Assist in month-end and year-end information preparation including Budgets and variances with spend to date for accounts highlighted Assist the Head of Finance in being responsible for the security of all customer data within the department Assist in the training, mentoring, and management of the finance apprentice Assist in VAT returns Adhere to and ensure department adheres to ISO quality & Security Standards Deferred income schedule and posting Sales contract drafting Assisting with sales order administration Any other tasks as directed by the Head of Finance and Directors General Skills, Knowledge & Experience: This role involves dealing with employees, customers, vendors, and suppliers daily. Therefore, outstanding customer service and communication skills are vital.
