Assistant Manufacturing Managers support the Site Operations Manager and inspire the team to consistently meet and exceed their performance standards, providing the best quality doughnuts possible. In this sweet role, you will be responsible for: Executing the daily production schedule efficiently and accurately, delivering all products on time and in full to all customers and shops it supplies. Promptly actioning and effectively communicating all communication received from the support office, customers, and business partners with all members of your team. Overseeing and completing relevant site food safety and cleanliness checks such as QCPs and GMP, ensuring Krispy Kreme standards are adhered to with clear steps taken to mitigate any product quality or food safety issues. Collaborating with Team Leaders to update and implement the daily production schedule by optimizing workforce placement and resource coordination, overseeing sick leave, and maintaining timecard records. Executing administrative duties related to order fulfillment (EBS). Offering coaching, direction, and constructive feedback to Team Members and Team Leaders through your on-site presence, regularly walking the production line, processing area, and pick and packing. Accountable for overseeing Krispy Kremer training and reporting, encompassing the Krispy Kreme onboarding, Workplace Fundamentals and Leadership Training Programs, and compulsory ad hoc training modules with our LMS platform, “Dough It.” Overseeing day-to-day staffing levels and timekeeping, ensuring efficient workflow while adhering to labor budgets. Protecting yourself and others from safety risks and/or hazards as far as reasonably practicable and escalating safety risks and/or hazards using the Krispy Kreme systems and processes. Leading, participating, and/or contributing to regular communications such as the DDS (Daily Directional Setting), Team/Group discussions, Feedback sessions, general corrective guidance, accountability adherence, and one-on-one briefings as appropriate; ensuring these are recorded when required. Leading and championing designated focus areas assigned to you, which may include Manufacturing Efficiency, Inventory Management, and/or People Capability. Continuing to upskill and contribute to your growth by taking charge of your own development through Krispy Kreme's development program. Qualifications & Education Food Safety Certificate Minimum 3 years in Food Handling and/or Manufacturing Industry Minimum 1 year in a managerial position in the relevant industry Experience working with Good Manufacturing Practices and procedures Every day at Krispy Kreme is filled with little moments that have big possibilities!
