We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, thoughtful, and collaborative colleague with education experience in Social Work and Social Care who will enhance the Department through their experience/research and innovative teaching, promoting effective student engagement. It is desirable that applicants are registered with Social Work England as a qualified social worker or an equivalent international body. The successful candidate will be expected to develop an exciting, innovative and research informed curriculum, delivering high quality teaching across a range of social work subjects. You will have excellent organisational and communication skills and will be expected to contribute to course management and academic administrative duties. You will have a strong commitment to continuing professional development and to inter-professional and international social work perspectives. This fixed appointment which covers a period of maternity will primarily provide substantive support to the delivery and administration of our Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) courses.

Minimum Requirements:
