Are you a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Qualified Accountant looking for an exciting opportunity to make a real impact? Our client, a leading Scottish organisation, is seeking a talented Part-Qualified Project Accountant to support their financial operations and contribute to the successful delivery of critical projects.

As a Part-Qualified Project Accountant, you will work closely with project teams to ensure accurate financial management and reporting across a diverse portfolio of projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to build on your accounting expertise while being an integral part of a high-performing finance team.

Key Responsibilities: Supporting project managers with financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. Preparing project cost reports and ensuring accurate variance analysis. Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts and reconciliations. Monitoring project financial performance, identifying risks, and proposing solutions. Collaborating with internal teams to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures. Supporting the year-end audit process and other ad hoc financial projects as required. Previous Experience:

We're looking for a proactive and enthusiastic individual who is: Part-qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ICAS, or equivalent) with demonstrable experience in a financial role, ideally with experience in a project accounting role. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving ability. Experienced in working with financial systems and proficient in MS Excel. An excellent communicator, able to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
