Healthcare, Construction Our client, a leader in the project and cost management consultancy industry, is seeking an ambitious Assistant Project Manager to join their London team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in construction or a related field, with 2 years of relevant experience. Key Responsibilities: You will be involved in a large-scale new-build healthcare project, currently in the construction phase. Your role will include supporting the project manager in overseeing the day-to-day management of the project, tracking progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets, and coordinating with contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders. You will also assist in quality control, risk management, and reporting to ensure the project meets the necessary standards and regulatory requirements. In addition to your primary project, you will support a variety of other projects across different sectors, primarily within healthcare but also including education, commercial, and residential. This aspect of the role will involve assisting with project coordination, document management, progress reporting, and contributing to overall project delivery, across different stages of the project lifecycle. Key Requirements: Qualifications: A degree in a construction-related field (e.g., Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, etc.). A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a construction environment. Skills & Experience: Knowledge or experience in managing construction projects or assisting in project management within the built environment. Ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and clients. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A proactive, problem-solving mindset, with a focus on delivering high-quality work. A keen interest in the construction and project management sectors, particularly in healthcare projects.
