We are currently looking for an Assistant Project Manager to deliver temporary traffic management framework for our Sizewell C new build nuclear site. The role: Supporting the Project Manager, you will deliver temporary traffic management framework at Sizewell C nuclear new build to ensure the highest levels of safety and operational compliance. Initiating job packs for works Developing work methodology for new scope activity Defining objectives, writing task briefings, safe systems of work, RAMs, TBT’s CAD design for traffic management installations / autopath analysis / sign design Monitoring and controlling working hours Attending co-ordination meetings with client and other stakeholders Planning work in excel documents Allocating work in excel documents Resource planning and recruiting operational employees Onboarding new starters including submitting security documents, inductions, issuing PPE etc Overseeing operation of the on-site sign shop Commercial/finance activity to include raising PO’s, payment applications, change control, quotations etc Bi-weekly on-site road audits Monitoring training records, booking training Workforce line-management activities The Ideal Candidate: Experience of working in the Temporary Traffic Management Sector NHSS Sector 12 qualifications to M6/M7 or similar Experience in TM design using CAD systems Demonstrable experience of managing multiple operational teams in the traffic management sector, including supply chains Strong communication skills particularly to lead and influence safety behaviours and compliance SMSTS qualification Strong written and record keeping skills Experience of working in the nuclear build or complex major projects preferred What We Offer: Competitive salary of £45,000 to £50,000 per annum (depending on experience) 33 days holiday per year (inclusive of bank holidays) Life assurance Enhanced maternity pay Pension scheme Digital GP Free mortgage advice Employee Benefits Hub – offering retail discounts, rewards and perks on over 1,000 brands Employee Assistance Program – providing free 24/7, professional and confidential advice on any issue both personal and work related.
