A fantastic opportunity for a Psychology graduate with an interest in neuropsychological and complex mental health conditions in older adults and adults of working age. You will work closely with our talented multidisciplinary team to provide a holistic and person-centred service to our patients who present with a wide range of mental health needs including neuropsychological and psychiatric conditions. Main duties of the job

You will play an important role within the hospital, supporting and enhancing the provision of psychological services to the inpatient service users at Baldock Manor Hospital. You will assist with clinical work as required by the service, under the direct guidance, close clinical and professional supervision of the Head of Psychology and Therapies. About us

Baldock Manor is a 45-bed mental health facility for adults in various settings (two Female PICU's, Rehab and Elderly High Dependency Unit), with an increased focus on psychology led treatments. Nouvita Healthcare is a private healthcare company providing outstanding mental health care across nine sites. In addition to our hospital, our services include supported living, residential care homes, and psychiatric nursing homes. Job responsibilities

Qualifications

A first-class or Upper-second class bachelor's degree with Honours in Psychology that is accredited by the British Psychological Society and confers the Graduate Basis for Registration of the British Psychological Society. Paid or unpaid direct experience with a mental health population. Research work. Graduate level knowledge of psychological assessment and psychology. Graduate level knowledge of psychological research methodology and statistical analysis. Awareness of racial and cultural diversity issues. Awareness of trauma-informed care principles and how these apply in mental health services. Disclosure and Barring Service Check
