The posts will require someone with previous experience of working in CAMHS settings, preferably with experience of working with children who are Looked After. Cambian Wing College is a residential college for young adults aged 16-25 who have a diagnosis of Asperger Syndrome and other associated difficulties. We are seeking academically strong candidates to support and enhance the psychological care of children and young people within Cambian Healthcare by assisting qualified psychologists in the delivery and evaluation of evidence-based interventions that meet Cambian Healthcare objectives, national strategic and policy guidelines, commissioner requirements and user and carer needs and expectations. The role involves: Administration, scoring and report writing of psychometric assessments Standardised risk assessments Clinical formulation Support/consultation to staff Individual and group interventions Full induction training is given. You will learn from some of the most dedicated and inspirational people in our profession and, just like our young people and Service Users, you will be learning all the time through our ongoing mentoring and support. Clinical supervision is an important part of the development and additional training will be supported. Candidate Profile: You will be a strong team player, confident, motivated and well organised. You will have a good understanding of the role of therapeutic boundaries and the importance of evidence-based interventions. Patience and commitment are essential, but above all, you’ll be someone with a genuine desire to help others. We are looking for someone with a good degree in Psychology and preferably previous experience within an Assistant Psychologist role.
