Co-facilitating evidence-based psychologically informed groups to patients on a mixed-gender acute ward Delivering personalised individual sessions to patients using a range of psychological models Attending daily MDT handover meetings at the start of the working day Undertaking literature searches for the Consultant Psychologist to help inform practice Supporting the Consultant Psychologist with audits and service evaluations Collecting and evaluating outcome data Developing/collating psychological resources for the staff and patients on the ward Engaging in weekly supervision Attending monthly psychology specialty meetings for ongoing CPD The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply. Qualifications
Psychology degree with GBR Formal training in a psychological intervention (e.g. CBT or DBT) Experience
Previous experience as AP or Research Assistant Previous experience in an inpatient environment Previous experience of delivering psychological intervention Ability to reflect on own lived experience Skills and Knowledge
Basic competency in word processing and statistical analysis Experience using computers for databases or data analysis, including SPSS and Excel Disclosure and Barring Service Check
