We are looking for people with a strong interest in working as part of a team alongside the capability to take ownership of independent tasks. You must have previous experience of working in a clinical setting where you have had the opportunity to build therapeutic relationships and develop an understanding of individual differences. We are keen for people to apply who have developed experiences working with people in our care. This is because Assistant Psychologist roles are development roles designed for the career pathway of becoming a HCPC Registered Psychologist. To enable us to provide the right opportunities for this career development, we need to know that you have the essential criteria for progression onto either other Assistant Psychologist roles, relevant further education, or to take the step-up to a trainee role (via doctorate programmes; BPS routes or statement of equivalence conversions). It will be expected that you are able to demonstrate a good understanding of the role of both an Assistant Psychologist and a Registered Psychologist, which you may have developed through working with or alongside Psychology professionals in your teams and/or through volunteering roles. We value understandings of the profession that are developed through personal experiences of mental health. Additional essential skills include being computer literate and having excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Reward

We offer a competitive salary and an excellent benefits package that includes 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays, sickness policy on par with NHS, car lease scheme, free parking, cycle to work scheme, healthcare discounts, paid DBS application, access to vocational qualifications, on-site facilities such as gym access and swimming pool, all set within beautiful grounds… and much more… Closing Date:
