Assistant Quality Engineer

to join the team. The Quality team at Vax works closely with our Engineering & Product teams and provides vital input on product quality throughout the design and development process. The Assistant Quality Engineer will work closely with the rest of the quality team to offer pre & post-launch support for new products and realise VE opportunities. As well as working with all internal teams, the role will work with the wider TTI group and our OEM’s in the Far East. Responsibilities The Assistant Engineer will carry out several planned and reactive tasks on a daily/weekly basis. The role is incredibly busy and very hands-on, spending time in our on-site test laboratories, and conducting tests to determine root cause analysis on a range of products. We need an Engineer who is inquisitive and questions our processes and procedures to continually improve what we do. Our Quality team takes a product from pre-production / post-launch through to value engineering. Day to day Support products through the gate process to ensure a successful launch into the market Analysing all data and extracting key information through the entire product lifecycle Provide input on quality throughout the design and development process Conduct product investigation to determine the root cause of any failure modes Review any failures with NPD and audit changes whilst capturing lessons learned Review product compliance by monitoring performance and quality testing What we need from you Communication across a wide range of people/teams and time zones! The role involves communication internally & externally and with our valued partners across the globe. Experience with investigating product quality issues and root cause analysis using 8D methodology, leading to corrective action planning and implementation. Inquisitive Mind! Good level of problem-solving ability, applying a methodical approach to discover, identify, and resolve issues encountered Strong analytical mind

Ability to analyse data and extract key information. Ability to analyse product designs and make recommendations.
