Are you an Assistant Quantity Surveyor looking for an opportunity to step into a role where your skills can truly shine? A leading £50m main contractor is searching for a talented and ambitious Assistant QS to support the commercial management of a prestigious £40m restoration project set on a historic country estate in the Cotswolds.

About the Project: This once-in-a-lifetime project, delivered in partnership with heritage authorities, involves the meticulous restoration of Grade II and Grade II listed properties and outbuildings*. Combining traditional craftsmanship with modern techniques, this project offers a rare opportunity to work on something truly unique and challenging.

The Role: As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you'll:

* Assist in managing costs across various packages of work.

* Support the preparation of valuations, variations, and cost reporting.

* Gain exposure to contract administration and work alongside senior team members to manage subcontractor accounts.

* Play an integral role in ensuring the project remains on budget and delivered to the highest standard.

What We're Looking For:

* Some experience working as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally with exposure to heritage or high-end projects (though not essential).

* A keen eye for detail and a proactive attitude.

* Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and the wider project team.

* A passion for quality and delivering results on time and within budget.
