Assistant Quantity Surveyor | Birmingham | up to £45,000 | main contractor A major, award-winning contractor with multiple regional offices is seeking a number of new staff, including an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, to support their growth and expansion plans. With a strong pipeline of work lined up until mid-2026 for councils, private and blue-chip clients, they are now looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to initially provide commercial support on complex, landmark projects, including properties across a range of sectors, such as residential, offices, leisure, and historic restorations (new builds, refurbishments, and fitouts). In your role as Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will be supporting a Commercial team led by a Commercial Director and Managing Quantity Surveyors, costing for projects that range from education and hospitals to warehouses. If you are successful in your application, as Assistant Quantity Surveyor you will become an integral member of a dynamic Commercial team within a company that offers a generous package, a close-knit team, and the opportunity to work on unique, high-value projects, as well as a long-term path to move into an independent Quantity Surveyor role, managing your own projects. The successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor will have prior experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
