Assistant Quantity Surveyor

to join their growing team. Turnover stands at 20m currently. The Commercial Director has a plan to get this toward 100m. He has an incredible track record and has done this journey with his previous company. Already bringing in 30m worth of work with NHBC developers. The key thing here is you will be joining the story at the very beginning and reap rewards when you become a Senior person toward the end of the journey.

The Role As an

Assistant Quantity Surveyor , you will support the Quantity Surveying team in managing the commercial aspects of construction projects. You will assist in cost estimation, procurement, contract administration, and managing subcontractors. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional development and exposure to a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities: Assist in preparing cost estimates and managing project budgets. Support tendering and procurement processes. Assist in managing subcontractor relationships and contracts. Help with contract administration, including valuations and final accounts. Produce basic cost reports and assist with project forecasting.

Key Requirements: 3-5 years' experience in Quantity Surveying, preferably in construction. Experience with residential, commercial, or industrial projects. Strong knowledge of construction contracts (JCT, NEC). Excellent communication and organisational skills.
