Our privately owned property developer client, renowned for its exquisite, ultra-high-net-worth client builds, seeks a talented and ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their close-knit, high-performing team. Specialising in creating exceptional, bespoke residences that redefine luxury living, they are looking for someone who shares their passion for excellence.

The Role:

Reporting to a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of exclusive projects. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Assisting with the preparation of detailed cost plans and budgets for high-value residential projects. Producing accurate and timely cost reports and valuations. Monitoring and controlling project costs throughout the construction lifecycle. Assisting in the procurement process, including tendering and sub-contractor selection. Managing variations and claims. Preparing and analysing post-project cost reports. Contributing to the continuous improvement of our cost management processes.

The Ideal Candidate: A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline. At least 1-2 years' experience in a similar role. (Newly qualified candidates with exceptional aptitude will also be considered). A strong understanding of construction methods and materials. Proficient in the use of relevant software, including MS Office Suite. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A proactive approach and a desire to learn and develop. A full UK driving licence is essential.
