We are excited to present an opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor with our esteemed client, a notable Housing company located in Greater Manchester, North West. In this role, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Quantity Surveying team by managing cost estimates, assisting in financial assessments, and ensuring that projects are delivered within budget. The successful candidate will possess a solid understanding of the housing sector and demonstrate the ability to contribute effectively to the overall project management process. Your expertise will be invaluable in maintaining high-quality standards and compliance throughout all stages of construction.

Responsibilities:

Manage cost estimates and assist in financial assessments. Support the Quantity Surveying team in delivering projects within budget. Maintain high-quality standards and compliance throughout all stages of construction.

Minimum Requirements:

Experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, preferably within the general building or housing sector. A basic understanding of cost planning and management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a team and manage multiple tasks. Keen attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Relevant qualifications, or working towards, in Quantity Surveying or a related field are desirable.
