The job is challenging and interesting, with a lot of variation. Bradshaw vehicles are used across a wide variety of industries, anything from oilrigs to motor manufacturing, airports to hospitals, golf courses to wildlife parks, atomic plants to power stations and more.

Own hand tools required, Forklift licence an advantage (training if required). You should have a positive ‘can do’ attitude, underpinned by an active ‘roll the sleeves up’ style. You should have a Full clean driving licence and you will be required to produce a Driver Licence Summary report annually on request.

Duties to include:

Prepare or repair rental vehicles (diesel petrol and electrical), as per given job cards. Help us achieve ongoing improvements in our build times and quality performance. Ensure the surrounding areas are kept smart, clean and safe. Adhere to, and participate in, our 5S program. Communicate clearly on technical issues. Prioritising tasks in a changing customer-driven environment. Build production vehicles as per given job cards as required. Valet vehicles as necessary. You will work on your own and as part of the team, when required. To actively participate in the on-the-job training program. Ensure you are aware of and comply with the company Health and Safety Policy. The job description is not an exhaustive list. Employees are expected to take a responsible attitude towards duties which are not specifically listed but which should, in the company’s best interests, be performed by themselves, particularly when circumstances change for any reason.

Remuneration

Competitive Salary Profit Share Bonus – This is a variable % of the basic salary paid quarterly if the company achieves its targets. This starts after 12 months continuous employment with the company. Auto enrolment pension based on whole salary. You will be required to work 39 hours or such hours as may be required to perform the duties and responsibilities of the job, with standard 23 days holiday plus bank holidays; 3 or 4 days holiday each year is kept back to allow for the Christmas break. You will be required to be On-Call some weekends during the year; a bonus payment per day will be made for On-Call, this will be paid in the month following. In the event of Call Out, overtime rates will apply. The Company reserves the right to change any of the provisions of this (or a substituted) scheme by amendment, addition, deletion or by substitution of new rules or procedures, at its discretion, from time to time.
