The Retail Team is responsible for the marketing and selling of Club merchandise, including kit, and plays a key role in driving sales revenue for the organisation. They are also tasked with maintaining high retail standards across both customer-facing and back-of-house operations. We are now looking to expand our team. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic environment, playing a vital part in delivering a first-class shopping experience for customers while helping to meet business objectives. 2. The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Retail Store Manager to assist in managing the Club’s retail store at Villa Park. You will play a vital role in supporting the Retail Store Manager to oversee store operations, implement strategies for sales growth, and lead the team. You will be responsible for helping to manage a smooth and efficient operation, providing leadership to the retail team, and always ensuring excellent customer service. The key responsibilities include supervising staff, assisting with inventory control, ensuring the store meets safety and visual merchandising standards, and providing guidance and support to junior staff members. Your leadership and ability to motivate the team will contribute to the overall success and profitability of the store. 3. The Person

We are looking for an individual with proven experience in a retail or assistant management role. You must have strong leadership skills with previous experience in managing or supervising teams. You will need to have a solid understanding of retail operations with strong time management, attention to detail and organisational skills to ensure that objectives and deadlines are met. You must have excellent communication skills and have the passion to provide a first-class service to both customers and staff. You must also be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, be adaptable to changing demands and be able to resolve challenges quickly and effectively. You must be available to work flexibly as the Club requires, this will include matchday working, evenings, and weekends. 4. Why join us?
