Role description:To provide the right people, in the right place, at the right time to support activity assist in the delivery of short- and long-term business plans and strategy. Understanding of Commercial and business financial targets (utilisation and multiplier), People First decisions and Client experience.Role accountabilities: Stakeholder management: Foster collaborative relationships with key stakeholders in the business to build an understanding of business need in the short and longer term. For example (but not limited to) Other Senior Resource Planners and Resource Planners BDs PMs, Account Leads and AWPMs Strategic Pursuits Team HRBPs, Finance and TA Resource Optimisation: Provide timely matching of resource requests via Resource Planning Toolkit (RPT). Keep resource assignments up to date via Project Managers. Advise on skills available and time lags to obtain them. Work with GEC to ensure a One Resource Planning approach. Monitor large projects for changing demands and evolving requirements. Optimise resourcing model through governance and allocation of permanent staff, contingent workers and use of GEC in accordance with commercial plans, company strategy and client need, meeting our employer of choice objectives. Planning: Support Senior Resource Planner and Resource Manager in provide insight on skills and capabilities for successful resource deployment Reporting & Data Insight: Publish regular set metrics, reporting consistently and providing valuable insight to RMs and the business, bringing data to life to support resourcing decisions Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Partner with BDs, TLs & PMs to support business decision making and looking for opportunities to continuously develop and streamline WFPand continue to evolve our approach to SWP. One Team: Work together and support team members to succeed in role and develop and mentor each other with a Grow Perform Succeed mindset Qualifications & Experience: Prior experience in resource management and workforce planning Strong stakeholder management skills with a keen eye for detail and high level of data accuracy. Able to build relationships based on mutual trust and confidence, can challenge stakeholder decisions. Experience of mentoring/developing junior staff Collaborative with peers, confident and self-aware
