Salary: GBP12 - GBP12 per hour We are looking for two Assistant Shop Managers to join our friendly team at our St Ives Charity Shop to support them as they continue to strive for excellence in this unique store. Responsible for supporting the Shop Manager in the day-to-day management of the shop, our successful applicants will ensure that donations are generated, display and merchandising is arranged, stock deliveries and collections are managed, and that record keeping and cash handling is accurate and maintained. They will also, crucially, along with our Shop Manager, be responsible for recruiting, training, motivating, managing, and supporting our loyal and dedicated team of volunteers. If you are: Ambitious and enthusiastic Have strong communication skills and are customer-oriented Organised and resourceful Personable, hands-on, and committed to achieving the highest retail standards Motivated by working in a busy, fast-paced environment and have an affinity with the work that Woodgreen does and a desire to increase public awareness and donor engagement of the Charity’s mission, we would love to hear from you. With a salary of £23,400 pro rata per annum (equivalent to £12.00 per hour), we have the following rota patterns available: 13.5 hours per week working each Thursday and alternate Saturdays and Fridays 10.5 hours per week working each Monday afternoon and each Sunday It is important to note that as Woodgreen Charity Shops are open every day, when providing cover in the event of annual leave or sickness, you may be required to work during a weekend or on a Bank Holiday. This competitive salary will be complemented by: Pro rata equivalent of 36 days annual leave per year (inclusive of bank holidays), rising by 1 day each year to 40 days after five years Up to 8% employer pension contributions Support towards healthcare costs (cashplan) Free access to Headspace Life assurance (4x salary) 25% discount in our charity shop This vacancy may close earlier should we receive high volumes of applications.
