You will be responsible for supporting the Shop Manager in the day-to-day management of the shop; generating donations; display and merchandising; managing stock deliveries and collections; record keeping; cash handling and crucially, recruiting, training, motivating, managing and supporting a loyal and committed team of volunteers.

You Should Be Able To Offer The Following Qualities:

Ambitious and enthusiastic Strong communication skills and customer oriented Organised and resourceful Personable, hands on and committed to achieving the highest retail standards Good communication and customer service skills are essential An affinity with the work that Woodgreen does and a desire to increase public awareness and donor engagement of the Charity's mission The successful person will be given a full and in-depth induction training programme from the start of their retail journey with Woodgreen and on-going.

With a salary of £23,400 pro rata per annum (equivalent of £12.00 per hour), this position is working 10.5 hours each week on a Monday and a Sunday. As Woodgreen Charity Shops are open every day to include weekends and Bank Holidays, it's important to note that your rota may incorporate these days. This competitive salary will be complemented by: Pro rata equivalent of 36 days annual leave per year (inclusive of bank holidays) rising by 1 day each year to 40 days after five years Up to 8% employer pension contributions Support towards healthcare costs (cashplan) Free access to Headspace Life assurance (4x salary) 25% discount in our charity shop This vacancy may close earlier should we receive high volumes of applications.
